BOXING
Boxing, relying on footwork and speed, means constantly moving, dodging and using fast, longer range punches like the jab to keep the opponent from formulating an effective attack. Blocking and counter punching alone can provide a strategy to dilute an opponent’s attack entirely and create an opening.
Boxing becomes a matter of learning strategy, creating openings, and responses that weaken attacks. Hand speed, dodging and blocking, fast reflexes, and footwork cause the opponent to miss their punches.
